Thanks. The Crown's case for alleging these 3 men were the ringleaders of the Coutts Blockade was very weak. They pivoted at the end to tell the jury that just by attending the protest in Coutts they were guilty of mischief. This lets the door open for anyone who protested in Coutts to plausibly be charged with mischief. I don't know what the sunset for pressing charges is for the Crown.

I suppose we have no possibilty of knowing what lead the jurors to make this decision; this decision sounds absurd.
