Note: I am assuming that the Liberals refers to a political party. I guess I am more of a liberal, with some conservative leanings. More of a humanist than anything I guess, and look for ideas that are consistent with that stance. In any case, I think that what Premier Danielle Smith says here is emminently sensible.

Liberal, conservative, left, right? These are all to a large extent simplifications which with intelligent persons will provide to be inadequate labels.

The problems in the world are more basic: the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, and scum always rises to the top. This happening routinely under any political organization, and almost seems to have the force of a law of nature. It can be described as a Pareto distribution I think, but there are some underlying factors that tend to give that distribution. It seems to be inevitable.
