5 WINS FOR FOOD FREEDOM | Amish Farmer Update, Raw Milk Laws, Farming, Homesteading, Prepping

Transcript:
March 2024, West Virginia legalizes raw milk with no strings attached via House Bill 4911, as long as the containers are clearly labeled as ungraded raw milk. Again, March 2024, USDA responds to public pushback, correcting dishonest legislation that allows imported meat and poultry to be marketed as product of the USA. Yet again, in March 2024, a judge removes the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture's stranglehold on the Amish farmer, reestablishing Amish Miller's right to serve private members in 49 of 50 states.
May 2024, the Louisiana Raw Milk Bill passes to the House with a vote of 95-0, and if passed by the Senate and signed into law, the bill will bring the U.S. down to just five states that prohibit the sale of raw milk, down from 25 states in 2006. Enacted in 2017 and revised in 2023, the Maine Food Sovereignty Act cites that local food producers in communities with food sovereignty laws are to remain exempt from state licensing and inspection of food produced, sold, and consumed locally. Citation for all of these food freedom victories are in the description of this video, alongside my free guide to growing your own grass-fed beef and lamb, so download that one while you're at it.
But why am I listing all of these food freedom victories in sort of a shotgun style? It's because I want this video to serve as a reminder that activism makes an impact. About eight weeks ago, I began what became an eight-week video series. It began by highlighting some disturbing overreach as it pertained to federal and state agencies against private farms. It ended with a one-to-one sit down with a member of U.S. Congress, as I asked him question after question as to how we, as concerned citizens, can be proactive, rather than having to be reactive in light of some of this overreach. If you missed any of those videos, I'll link the entire playlist down below.
But as I've shared that video series, I realize it can be very, very easy to fuel an imbalance. And while I do believe it's part of good strategy to know how and when our enemies are advancing, unless it's balanced with reports like this that actually show the positive effects of our efforts, it might leave some people feeling like activism isn't effective, our efforts are futile, and we might as well just go belly up in a bunker somewhere and wait for a massive EMP attack. And I know this because while a majority of my comment section is filled with people who are excited to be doing what they're doing and living life on the defense, I started getting comments from people who were encouraging me to go build an armored arc, possibly even give up my efforts because at maximum we have a year before the world's on fire. And someone even went so far as to suggest that I not get married and bring more children into this world because they will have no inheritance besides microchips in their forehead, which I thought was kind of rude. How would you feel if somebody said that to you? I have a plan for my yet-to-be-born children.
But I'm calling out these particular comments because I realize this is the exact mindset that our opponents want us to have. They want us belly up in a bunker or armored arc somewhere with no progeny and no ability to obstruct their efforts moving forward. By the way, comment down below if you agree or how you disagree with that particular comment. I would be very entertained to read your thoughts there.
There is a fundamental truth that I hold to, and that is that standing in the gap for what is right does make a difference, period. In addition to just simply being a biblical concept, it's Newton's third law: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Exercising our duty to peacefully protest what is wrong, petitioning government authorities on behalf of what is right, and probably most importantly, just walking the walk by getting up every morning, reestablishing and working our own small farms, or supporting that local food community near us. These are the things that will obstruct the pathway of those who would do us ill. And these are the things that we must continue to do.
Please give this video a thumbs up if you agree and watch this one next on why my farm is not a prep for the apocalypse. They don't want you to have children. Newsflash, because children grow up to be adults who have an impact on society. Oh, that's power. That's power.
